God's got them

I've been doing pretty well at keeping my youth zooming from being lengthy. I meet with the kids twice a week for different reasons... One meeting is 30 minutes and the other is an hour. But tonight I didn't want to sign off. The kids were engaging and smiling and talking and it struck me how much I miss them. They all seem to be managing okay...and I am grateful for that.

I cant help but be concerned about them....but in that I recognize that God's got them. I am reminded that we are given the gift of one another. Created in Christ's image for love and relationship. The language of this week's gospel frequently uses the word "give". God created us for love and care. To be givers AND receivers.

Lord..I miss these young folks. And I continue to pray for their safety..guidance..and health
