Zooming through...

Thankful for the Youth of this generation! And more than thrilled to be a Youth Leader in a Community of Faith.

We are coming to understand that this pandemic will have effects that last into the future of our youth. Effects that are both good and not. It is the struggles of loss that I lament for our next generation of leaders.

The group of young people I serve have persevered and stayed in the game, even when the rules of the game appear to keep changing.

Tonight I noticed the most amazing thing. I HEARD in their voices care for each other. Thoughtfulness. Interest. These young people haven't seen each other in person for three months. And yet. They haven't forgotten one another. And I think .... and continue to pray ... that they know they have not been forgotten either.

Good and most Gracious God, thank you for continuing to support and protect and guide our fabulous young people during this time of struggle. Amen.
